New Year's Eve 12/31/15

On New Year's Eve we sent some lanterns high into the sky. We had some paper lanterns left over from neighbor Christmas gifts, so we decided to set them off. It was so cold that the little flame quickly generated enough hot air for them to float far and fast. Bethany and Steve came over too, so we were safe...we had a fire fighter with us.

Just in case we ever forget, this is what we looked like on the last day of 2015

I also nailed the making of 2016 breadsticks for our dinner, as you can see!

The Great Egg Rolling Eggstravaganza

We had a fun time rolling eggs at the high school over Christmas break. Neal created a bracket for the competition. The competition was pretty serious as you can see Christian v. Broden was really intense.

This was no ordinary egg roll situation, the losers had to select a costume to wear. So, eventually everyone was dressed in costumes, and one person won a trophy.

Cammie v. Brock

Waiting for the next match.

Christian lost in epic fashion, and chose a giant squirrel suit to wear.

Brock was disappointed in his loss, but happy to dress up like the Ginger Bread man.

Cali v. Carter

Bethany v. Caleb

Cali v. Neal

This Laker's cheer leader lost too.

Slim Jim, the Gingerbread, and a Laker's cheerleaders.

The whole family.

Squirrel love.

A pig and a duck!

Cali was the winner, and was presented this beautiful trophy.

This is how it all went down.

Bonus wigs, just for fun!

Skins

In a friendly game of basketball at the high school gym in Castle Dale, these three chose to join the "skins" team.
