Dance Competition Season

This was Cali's first competitive dance season. There was a huge learning curve for me, but Cali fit right in. I was thankful that she was old enough to change her own clothes and do her own hair and makeup. Once I figured out the routine, I just dropped her off at the correct place at the correct time and found a seat in the auditorium.

Cali's Track Meet

It turns out that Cali is a great triple jumper and a good sprinter too. At this meet in Green River, she was just inches away from breaking the school record in the triple jump. I love a good track meet and it was so fun to watch her compete in her jumping and running events.

Dance Competiton in Green River with Friends

The Green River Aspire dance competition is a fun gathering of many dance teams. All of the classes and teams from the Rock Academy where Cali dances compete, so it was fun to see some dance I hadn't seen before. It was fun for Cali too, since several of her friends that aren't on competitive teams were there.

Bethany and Brock came with us to watch and when they had to go home, Carter and Christian came to watch after baseball.

Cali did a great job, and I got a few (not great pictures). Some of the competitions prohibit taking of pictures.

Carter's Choir Concert

Carter had a short speaking part in his school choir concert.

There were a couple of songs that were choreographed, and all the kids did a great job with the actions and the songs {Carter in the very back}.

He enjoys singing in the school choir.

Park Day and Pacer Record

I took Brock and Caleb to the park for a little park day. The weather was finally nice, and it was great to be outside. The crazy boys organized a ninja warrior course, it was my job to time them.

Carter set the school Pacer Record with 100 pacers. That means he ran up and down the basketball 100 times and did it without taking any breaks or missing any of the pacer beats.
