Caleb's Kindergarten Graduation

The graduating class of 2028 is well on their way! Caleb's kindergarten was a bitter sweet event for me. It's my last kindergarten graduation. Of the three I've attended for my children, this one was the strangest for sure. No songs or program, just a whole pile of kids sitting on the gym floor called up by class to receive their diploma from a member of the school board. I thought it a strange mix of informal and too formal.

Caleb didn't know any different, and he proudly marched up to receive his diploma.

His class also chose a beach theme for their graduation, so there were a lot of random Hawaiian shirts, which added to the strangeness and hilarity of the whole event.

Brock attended the graduation and presented Caleb with a huge candy bouquet.

I can't even believe that my tiny baby is already a Kindergarten graduate.

The day would not have been complete without Bethany and Brock {and Brock's smile}.

All of us!

Park Day and Pacer Record

I took Brock and Caleb to the park for a little park day. The weather was finally nice, and it was great to be outside. The crazy boys organized a ninja warrior course, it was my job to time them.

Carter set the school Pacer Record with 100 pacers. That means he ran up and down the basketball 100 times and did it without taking any breaks or missing any of the pacer beats.

Easter Activities

We had a really fun Easter with mom and dad and Bethany and Brock. We spent some time dying Easter eggs. This activity requires an oversized apron and or a bare chest. It's serious business!

While we were dying eggs, Christian and dad amused themselves with funny things from the internet.

Then we set up an Easter egg hunt all around our yard.

Cali did the hiding and the younger kids did all the finding.

It was a nice day to sit on the porch.

Some of the eggs were even hidden in the leftover snow.

Just a precious sister picture.

Once inside the kids dug into their findings. Most of the eggs had candy in them, but some  had money.

Cali even made these cute little bunnies on a stick.
It was a great holiday!
