This summer Cali attended her first concert. Currently her favorite country band (seriously, the constant fingernail painting and country music...who's child is this?) is Florida Georgia Line. As chance would have it they were scheduled to play at Wyoming's Big Show in Rock Springs this summer. Tickets were $8.00ish so we braved the Big Show. We witness plenty of stark reminders about what NOT to wear, thankfully after an hour or so it got dark.
We met up with our friends Apryl, Abby, and Canon and proceeded to rock out. Cali and Abby were not prepared for my mad push-to-the-front-row-of-a-concert skills. However, they were quickly on the front row being smashed against the fence. Mission accomplished.
Of course, they played the one song I knew "Cruise" very last. By that time Cali and Abby's giant root beers were working against them, and they both had to go to the bathroom, "really really really" bad. I told them that there was no where to go. Really, who pushes their way through hundreds of people just to turn around? Thankfully they both survived, made it to the bathroom, and home before midnight!
